John Colin Rewolinski
Colin is the President of The Rev Group, and is the director of construction for commercial, residential, educational, healthcare, hospitality, and technology projects.
Colin has been a vital management component for over $100 million worth of construction projects in the last decade, progressively increasing in monetary value and complexity each year.
Colin began his career in the construction industry as a young carpenter at the age of 19. As a journeyman carpenter and framing subcontractor, Colin acquired years of hands-on, building experience. This has given him very valuable and fundamental understanding of the construction process.
After an off the job injury forced him to hang up his bags, he promptly enrolled in college for building design and architecture. As a design project manager for a local architect, Colin was directly responsible for design and planning for a variety of commercial, healthcare, and educational projects. Working in design endowed Colin with fundamental design concepts, and a keen eye for architecture.
After finishing his degree in design, Colin continued his education to receive a degree in Construction Industry Management. Shortly after receiving his degree, he was hired by an industry leading general contractor to be part of the management team for a 255,000 square feet, $80 million high school. His role in this project was partially responsible for nearly $100,000 of returned capital to the client, and over 400,000 man hours without a lost time injury.
Colin’s diverse background in the field, design, and construction management give him a broad range of skills to call upon when managing a project. This allows him to see projects from all points of view, resulting more comprehensive view of the construction process at every step.
